Learnistry helps you learn faster using active recall. You create flashcards, test yourself, and focus on what you don’t know so information is retained long-term.

Can I create my own flashcards?

Yes, you can create fully custom flashcards with text, images, and audio for any subject you’re studying.

Does Learnistry offer a free trial?

Yes, you get a 7-day free trial with full access. After that, a subscription is required to continue using the app.

How does the self-test feature work?

The self-test feature helps you check how well you remember your material.

You can mark cards as:

  • Know It — answered correctly
  • Review — needs more practice

This helps you focus on what actually needs improvement.

What test modes are available?

Learnistry lets you test your knowledge in multiple ways to strengthen memory.

You can choose:

  • A → B — Card A is the question, Card B is the answer
  • B → A — Reverse testing (Card B becomes the question)

You can also control the order of your test:

  • Random — cards appear in mixed order
  • Ascending — follow your card order
  • Descending — reverse order

This flexibility helps you study in different ways and reinforce learning more effectively.

What is “Exact Match Spelling”?

When enabled, your answer must match exactly to be marked correct.

This is especially useful for:

  • Languages
  • Vocabulary
  • Medical terminology
  • Technical subjects
Can I customise the look of my flashcards?

Yes, you can personalise your study experience.

You can adjust:

  • • Notebook colour
  • Font style
  • Font colour
  • Font size

These settings can be customised for both sides of your cards.

Does Learnistry require an internet connection?

Yes, an internet connection is currently required to access and save your notebooks.

Why was I charged after the free trial?

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the trial ends.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions can be managed through your device:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store

Go to your device settings → Subscriptions → Learnistry.

How do I request a refund?

All payments are handled by Apple or Google.

Refunds must be requested directly through the store where the purchase was made.
